Hello friends!
Today we wanted to share with you a pair of lovely white skates
we altered to give them a sugar kissed style!
This lovely pair of skates were purchased at our thrift shop.
As soon as we saw them we scooped them up!
We knew they would turn out cute if we sugar kissed them!
I took out the white shoelaces and added pink ribbon.
The fanciful red jewels can be found at Michael's.
They come in a set big enough for both skates.
Wishing you a lovely Sugar Kissed Sunday!
Lindsey and Twyla

I must have THREE pairs of skates around here AT LEAST!!.. Surely I could get away with altering one of them for this very pretty result! Love how pretty yours came out! Hope you're enjoying the weekend! ~tina

I love these! A few years ago I spraypainted my daughter's old skates, and I'm not kidding when I say it took a year for them to dry! Enamel paint and leather skates do not mix well together. Sure wish I'd done something like this instead!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE THE WAY YOU DID THE SKATES. THEY ARE SO PRETTY. YOU ARE BOTH SO CREATIVE.

Hello you two!
ReplyDeleteEverything is so very darling over here! I read your post below re a white Christmas - it was about 85 degrees here today in Los Angeles. We went to the Renegade Craft Fair and were cooking - looks like another dry one for us. Hoping you're staying warm and cozy and enjoying the hustle and bustle of the season!

Hi Twyla. I haven't had a chance before now to come and say thank you for your sweet comments when I lost my kitty last week. It really is comforting to know I have friends out there that have such sweet hearts and are so caring.
ReplyDeleteHugs and Happy Holidays to you and Lindsey...Tracy :)
To cute, I keep thinking if I ever find a pair of skates I am going to snap them up! Who am I kidding, I live in Orlando!
