Welcome!
Come on in and look around the Valentine vignette we have put together for you.
There are little surprises everywhere.
We gathered items that we felt conveyed the sweet feel of Valentine's day.
This little poodle planter was a gift from our dear friend, Sarita.

Maybe baby shoes!
Here are two vintage Valentines for you.
We love it when others create using our images. Our dear friend Holly made beautiful cards using some of the cards we've shared. Please be sure and visit Holly here to see what she made.

Beautiful vignette, ladies! Love your vision and style! Your home must be such a lovely place to be! Hope all is well with you and that you are having such a wonderful day!
ReplyDeleteYou have me thinking about those baby planters. I think it was so heart warming that women likely received those as shower gifts years ago. I can picture a new mom in the hospital (staying for a good 5 days, not like now where we are giving birth and out of the hospital we run!)getting baby's breath in them or sweet violets. Of course I love that poodle planter and all the sweet finds. Happy Friday! Twyla, do you remember the cat hanging from a tree in the 1970's that said, Thank God for Friday? Makes me smile! Also, giggle, Shower with a Friend! Ha!
ReplyDeleteOh, I just love it! Your Valentine vignette is the sweetest ever! Hugs from Blogland, Heidi

Hi,
ReplyDeleteAll the parts to your Valentine's vignette are so sweet. I particularly love the card of the girl standing on the heart. She is my favorite! I was in Archiver's yesterday and picked up some Glimmer Mist. I thought of you two, I love the stuff (kind of like the Martha Stewart glitter, I want one of every color...)and I am sure you will be showing me things to use it on!

Hi Lindsey! Just saw your message...that's just about one of my very favorite fonts! I have thousands on my computer that I've gotten over the years--most of them free--but the REALLY good ones I've had to buy, and this is one of them! But, it wasn't much--I never spend more than $20--got it from MyFonts.com--they have so many fabulous vintage fonts...enjoy!
ReplyDeleteYou're absolutely right! There sure is lots to see and ooh and aah over! So pretty!

Hi! I love your vignette! So sweet! I made your little tags for a little pre-Valentine's surprise for my friends I was meeting today for lunch. I challenged myself to make each one just a little different with the background. I'm going to email you a picture later tonight as I have a baby shower to attend soon. Thanks for the inspiration and Valentines! Suzie
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy stopping by to see what you have been up to. I have a baby planter that was given to me a long time ago when I had my oldest son. I also have his first pair of shoes in my cedar chest. I always thought that I would have them bronzed. I love your valentine vignette. A Missouri Friend
ReplyDeleteLove the toy valentine!! So cute!
ReplyDeleteMy Mom still has mine and she used it at my baby shower for my lil' dude!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for these valentines. This is just what I needed today for a few projects. What a blessing!

Hi Girls,
ReplyDeleteI am in love with your blog. I tried to log into it yesterday a few times and my computer froze. But I tried again today and voila, perfection.
Thank you for all your sweetness. I love all the same things you do. Really love these pictures. I'm digging those Bavarian canisters and the Baby Planters.
