Welcome to another Barbie Wednesday!
This week I have a Twist N Turn Barbie to show you! I found her at the flea market where I purchased the last 2 dolls I have featured, Twiggy and Francie. I am still unsure what year this TNT came out. I know that it was late 60's but I haven't figured out for sure the year. She has long sideburns which is a characteristic that I haven't seen with the TNT's in my books.
She also came with this Barbie and Stacey Sleep & Keep case from 1969.
The dress Barbie is wearing is called " Pretty Power" #1863 from 1969. This dress would have come with black open toe or Pilgrim shoes.
And this dress from 1970 is called "Loop Scoop" #1454. This dress is one of my favorites in my collection now. I love the bright yellow and braids of colors along the bottom. This dress would have come with yellow Pilgrim shoes.
I hope you have enjoyed looking at my new Twist N Turn Barbie today! Thank you for visiting and please feel free if you want to grab the banner and participate in Barbie Wednesday with me!
Lindsey

Oh, that brings back memories. When I was a child I loved that there was a Stacey doll because that's my name (with a slightly different spelling). I agree, that Loop Scoop dress is fantastic. Love the crocheted section. Thanks for another fun Barbie Wednesday
